If people want a drink, they'll have one.. this is ridiculous.
Haha didn't mean one, you know what I mean. :8
if this does come into place then the pub i work in will defiantly loose alot of business. also living in Brighton, we have one of the best nightlifes in the whole of the UK. Stopping promotions will kill our city.
Cost of a pint is already pretty high around here
Like £2.80 is common ;o
A Labour government taxing us all more & more? - surely not!!
They know it changes nothing, the whole lot of them are out of touch.
Nothing anyone is going to do is going to tackle binge drinking, it's become part of our culture.
Personally I don't care if they tax more on alcohol because I don't drink but I can see why some will be angered by this. It won't stop them binge drinking, it might however stop people binge drinking so often in the town centres.
They banned smoking for health purposes. The government is already spending so much in NHS because of smokers.
Hey lets smoke and kill ourselves and then get the NHS to treat us!!
Bloody ridiculous. Passive smoking is worse than actually smoking.
If they increase the price of alcohol in the supermarkets too, then the governments plan should work to an extent.
This is bloody ridiculous.
I probably won't go out now, because I can barely afford it as it is, £1 entry £1 drinks makes it a damn sight better.
Thought we were meant to be helping the economy?
Labours helping the economy is robbing money from those who earnt it and then giving investing into benefits that don't need to freaking exist.
