It doesn't matter if you (a fan) say you're the biggest club in the world, if a die hard scouser is playing for his boyhood club he simply won't move. He's even stated it himself.

it's not me people don't like posting in here... I don't make ridiculous threads like this one, it serves no purpose. Because Rooney would like him there doesn't mean anything and it's hardly massive sporting news, im sure other players think they'd love to see Gerrard in their side, it's not big news, thread is pointless. btw can I ask what the hell patronistic is?

Yes, maybe if a player wanted another player from a different team to play for his Club and they were all in the conference then yes, it wouldn't get reported on but this is actually some decent intresting news and not as you put it "pointless" thread/news.

If skysports did the interview, do you think they would NOT publish it on the skysports channel/Website? :eusa_wall

yeah you're right, a player saying it would be good to have another player is exactly the same as rooney saying it would be nice to have gerrard on his team but he wouldn't come cause he's too dedicated to liverpool!!! :rolleyes:

also, no it isn't big news at all, no one cares who rooney would like to have on his team, it's pointless, it's never going to happen so why create a thread on it, it's like doing a maths equation like +1 -1 at the end it amounts to nothing.
