Im a chav an own alot of expensive clothes and ive payed for everything. No i dont live in a council house and no i dont get benefits.

The only reason i personally have ever started stuff is with some little idiots thinking they are it and shout abuse for no reason, I have never started anything without a reason and never will but if some kid is gonna gob off at me round town and expect me to not do anything? :z

Where i live no1 who is a chav is what half of this thread are saying they are.

Its all a stereotype you get emo kids who are like that, You get goths screamos moshers greebos indies scene norms geeks etc etc etc etc who do exactly the same.

im sorry but ive been to gloucester, my uncle lives there and whatever part of it i went to was proper posh. so no. your definition of a chav must be somethig different.

if you feel like visiting real chavs, come to harrow, where i live, where on the odd occasion teenage chavs love to set off fireworks in the street and throw rocks through peoples windows.

Thats exactly my point, most people who wear trackies or w/e you'd describe as a 'chav' are sound and not how they are made out to be. Thats why I say, people who sterotype them like 'OMG CHAVS ;LL' are usually people who are socially backward.

Hang on, you just called yourself a chav? Interesting, I've never heard anybody do that before. Although the word 'chav' supposedly stands for 'council house and violent' which you say you are neither.

Anyway I don't really determine a chav exclusively based on their clothes. It's more their attitude and behaviour. The clothes, music and dialect are just what most of them happen to conform to.
