Our earliest 80GB was third gen which wasn't backward compatible. The only pre-third gen PAL was the 60GB.

There's two ways that this poorly written sentence can be perceived. One way would be that it indicates none of the PAL regions had a 20 or b/c 80. The other way it could be read is that you're disagreeing with a previous post and stating that the PAL region had either a 20 or a b/c 80. Now, the first option suggests there is more than one PAL region which of course there isn't, so this version wouldn't make sense and thus it would automatically be rejected in order to accept the other more correct understanding.Quote:

As far as forums work, once you've achieved the desired conclusion (and thus the end of the thread) but somebody still posts after you, it's fair to assume they are disagreeing with what has been said with alternative information. Therefore, you were either disagreeing with what I said (as this was the previous post) or you were simply posting anything that fitted into the thread to gain a post count or troll.
