Geert Wilders was banned from this country first time around for speaking out against militant islam.

No he was actually banned because he was condemning the Koran which is not speaking about militant islamic terrorists. That's why I made the comment. :P

Geert Wilders was actually banned for the reason of his film being considered 'anti-islamic' when it was not, he welcomes muslims provided they conform with the western way of life and points out that pure Islam is not compatible with western democracy and western values. I agree with him, so whats so wrong with speaking out against militantism as he does?

The islamic view on homosexuality is not compatible with democracy and neither is the islamic viewpoint on womens rights and that is a fact.

I thought you were against intervention in respect of Countries cultures and traditions?

Where you are going wrong is calling these cultures and traditions 'militantism' when it's not.

I am against intervention of countries cultures and traditions, and the same applies to islamic militant intervention which is attempting to change British and Dutch culture.

Islam is militant if you follow it to the hilt and it is becoming more and more dominant which poses a a threat to the western way of life and its values, we do not want that. As I said earlier on, its treatment of homosexuals and women for example is very harsh and is infact comparable to fascism (if a political party proposed poor treatment of homosexuals you'd call them fascist, why is the Koran any different?). Mr Wilders has stated very clearly that he welcomes anybody to the Netherlands provided they are moderate and not militant. Mr Wilders is also quite Libertarian and supports gay marriage and economic liberalism so he is definetly not the evil racist and fascist that the Labour Party attempt to paint him as.

Because the Koran is a book as is the bible and both can be seen to be extreme in their own ways. The actual book does not need to be condemmed. Those who use it as an excuse for Militant terrorism need to be condemned.
I do not agree with militants who try to force up to change our way of life either. I do not believe in Shariah law for instance but I do not like seeing races steretyped as all being the same. How many Britains live abroad and take their culture and traditions with them? Multi cultural Britain has been a fact of life for centuries. That's is why it is called the 'melting pot' of the world. Interestly you said that militant islamic terrorists were not a global threat in some discussions we have had and now it seems you are changing your mind. It seems to be the case here as Joseph Stalin is saying it is pointing to the Chechnians. Maybe one day you will agree with the fight against this terrorism.

This is the kind of thing Geert Wilders is up against, he is not playing the race card but is merely critcising a powerful and influential book which he believes is incompatible with western democracy and values.
