I had quoted Saurav not yourself. I'm not expecting politicians to make comments on the incident, I'm just showing how it's sensible to split your thoughts on people and politics, such as how Michael Foots death was treated.

Sorry, Jordy - it as just a joke. I am happy that I can separate politics from people and I was commenting on him not his policies. I have a right to this opinion.
Yes well he has been transferred to John Radcliffe Hospital and it still says minor head injuries and they always keep them under observation for that for at least 24hours.

Have to say he doesn't look too well in those pictures though, Robbie. John Radcliffe is a leading hospital for head injuries though so he is in safe hands.
Poor Nigel. :( Saw this earlier on... made me feel sad because he speaks his mind and is not afraid to do so. I hope he gets through this perfectly fine...
Well that sort of defines the left from the right, getting personal at the worst of times;- I believe I was the one who posted the Michael Foot thread in the first place, I hated his policies but respected the man because he actually was a socialist and a true politician who served the people. Anyway concerning other politicians commenting, Gordon Brown and the rest should be commenting because Gordon finds the time to comment on Michael Jackson, Susan Boyle and others yet it appears he cannot even wish a fellow public servant some luck.
To hell with the shower anyway and get well soon Nigel and the pilot! :)
as much as I ABSOLUTE DETEST THE CRETIN, i really hope he's okay and recovers well. i'm not just saying that either, stuff like this is beyond politics - a man could have died for christ's sake.
