I've seen my mum cry a lot.
The only time I've ever seen my dad cry is when my parents split up. It was actually heart breaking because I'd never seen him cry before.

My mum quite a few times, death of relatives, days when things don't go very well and things. My dad only once, and that was when they were having a blazing row and I intervened as it was quite a nasty one. I think he released how much of a *** he was being.
When my parents were in arguments I've seen my mom cry, I've seen my father cry when my grandfather passed away many years ago.
If we're discussing other awkward incidents where I've seen people cry when they didn't want me to, one lunch hour, I went to write a French test when I still (unfortunately) was required to take French for those lovely six years by the province. My female French teacher, who was just in her late twenties was in absolute tears after answering the phone, when she had been perfectly fine before. Her friend escorted her out of the school and several days later she returned.
Yes, when my granddad died two years ago :'(
