Firefox scripts causing big freezes

It's usually caused by poorly written/thought about scripts (infinite loops etc.) If it's too much of a problem use Chrome or Safari (I still prefer Firefox btw.)

It's even worse on my MacBook, it's actually unusable, It forced me to switch on there. Example, when I right click on Firefox for Mac it takes like 10 seconds for the menu to pop up, doesn't sound like a long time but trust me, it is :P

I have to agree with you here too. Firefox does not play nicely with OS X. Then again I've also had a beef with Chrome after some software updates so I've gone back to using Safari. Ah, well--atleast scrolling is smooth :P

OT; anyone remember when the Mac version had a really nasty default theme, in like Firefox 2?

Thats why you sell your mac and buy like 3 windows comps :P

The buttons and everything look so windowsy.

I don't have any problems with Firefox (3.6.8), well one but that's Adobe Flash's fault.

what's that? I had a problem with it once. I reinstalled flash and it went away
