She could have left them at animal shelter, gave them away, any number of things. she purposefully chose to be cruel. How sad.
Bet no-one would be outraged if a story was written about someone putting out fly traps or salting slugs

Why not, they're still living creatures? They still feel pain in the same way that a dog would.
