Anytime I get the hiccups I just hold my breath for as long as possible, it's like the standard procedure. ;)
Talking of hiccups, the other day my English Literature teacher sent someone out for having the hiccups.
While he wasn't being serious, it did cure their hiccups. They simply disappear when you're under stress :)
I've always found holding my breath to work just fine.

All you have to do is watch this, you'll be so astonished at the end of it they'll be gone. Trust me.
