Well im finding VB a very easy language to learn, so could be useful to get to grasps with coding in general, and then move onto java later. See what others have to say though

Oh also, I also suggest learning Java and/or C/C++, both are much more useful than VB in terms of Uni (and I presume College?)

I don't recommend learning Java from sites, yes it's possible, is it practical? No :P

Ahh, yeah i was thinking of buying : Java for dummies from waterstones for £24.99 :P but is it worth it?
