We had a Spectrum in the house but it was never used in my lifetime, but then again it was a console from the early '80s.
a SNES and gameboy colour was first handheld.

Well I have an older sister, so most of "my" consoles were hers. My first handheld was an GAMEBOY, the original one. And my first console was a PS2 which was my dad's although he more or less gave it to me and my brother.
I used to love the GAMEBOY so recently I bought a GAMEBOY Colour which is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!
My first handheld was a Virtua Fighter game.

Original game boy- my dad had one, I think my own personal one was PS though :)
I had a Commodore 64 too, PAPERBOY <3
God, the Gameboy Advance was so annoying with no backlight :( then the SP came out and I was gutted.
