What is the maximum amount of something that can be stacked?

Don't think so, as you can only have 1 stack of max cash can't you. That's why people use the ge and items to store money.

From what i remember you can have your 6 slots in GE, 1 in invent + 1 in bank

Yes, but if you actually get that much you probably have like party hat sets so you can put it all in your bank ;)

Some people use shards as money, I think you can have like 56bill worth in shards on a 2.14bill gp limit, well that's what they done before free trade anyway.
