There has been chatter of this going to the real LA.
The logo also reminds me of a Five Dollar note, with the Font and texture.

A GTA fan forum is thinking that it could be in Las Vegas because one of their mods hid the trailer release date in a poll with some other stuff:

They think the 204 is either days until release or date of second trailer.
I'm certainly looking forward to this game, hopefully it'll be more about street gangs than anything.
awh, i was actually hoping it'd be set outside of the US (yes, i know that wouldn't happen but one can hope :() one in russia, or china, based around the chinese mafia would be awesome.
but yeah, aslong as there's a big map (a la san andreas) - i'll be a happy bunny.
