also just gonna throw it out there;
can i suggest admin rep power fixed amount should be removed? my argument was that 20 is too SMALL of an amount for the likes of Brandon who should have more than me.
& there was a suggestion for showing how much spam posts we've posted. maybe show it for a few days once a year.
there have been threads on them both before but they just get forgotten about
Agree with both counts. It's nice to be able to look back through rep if you need to even if it's just something to do on a boring sunday afternoon!
While my rep would be lowered by admins having their earned rep amount, that is precisely the point imo. you earn it so I would not mind that change either and hope that it's not forgotten about this time!
In regards of looking through pages of your reputation, I'll remind David of the issue and hopefully we can get that back for you.
Admin Rep Power = I've just currently turned it off to see how much rep power the AGM's and Forum Admins get without it set. Most of us get a raise in power with just Scott at 19 and Community Mike being at 17. I may just keep it off since the majority see an increase and is our actual true rep power from the points we have earned since the day of joining the forum.
I don't remember the outcome of the spam posts but we can always see what is possible with that, even if we can show it once every so often for people to look at. [@]@Sct[/@]
I'll see to it that pages get added back to reputation received!
thank you
what about seeing reputation in the members list? you used to be able to click the reputation heading and it showed those with highest rep first, clicking it twice showed the most negative rep first. may as well get suggestions in (A)
Why is it when vBulletin is updated we seem to lose features? wouldn't you think vBulletin updates would actually mean the ability to add more updates/modifications to the forum? i'm not a technical guru so someone will have to answer that one for me. :P
Security updates and rewrites of certain files overwrite forum modifications and remove compatibility without adding new features.
Some features such as looking back through your reputation isn't a default feature by vbulletin and was created by David. When VB updates, files can get replaced which means these either stop working or are deleted for various reason. Features that vbulletin have by default can also get changed by them, depending on what mood they are in.
