lol thats all over my facebook. yeah i got advised to go home. saw an overurned lorry on the way home, not sure if it's related to the wind or what but likely :/ i could hardly walk, had to walk to the left to get to the right lol but most people are overexaggerating

Well it's just like any major storm in the US. It gets mentioned a lot and a lot and a lot. Get used to it!

I know, my mums just got the train to scotland and she says the train was only going 50mph whole way. took 8 hours.

our trains got stopped at about 1pm

I thought that haha! I remember coming out of College and it was really windy here too so I too cannot image what it would be like. I know it would probably blow me over at that speed.
