like this post lol, i wanted to know this aswel. thing is though i dont know who put me as their refferer :-S is there know way of seeing who put your name down?? also i still want to find out how you increase your rep power:-S complicated issue and i aint found a thread yet that tells you exactly. only guesses. i seen some with maybe 200 posts approx. not much rep think he had like 40 or summit and a recent member but he had rep power 2 :-S, i wish i cud find his name agen.

I'm guessing here, but I imagine members who create really good alts in the alt forums receive a lot of reps, and they probably deserve them for their creative skills. Rep power increases at a steady rate everytime someone gives you a rep point. So for example when you reach 100 rep points you gain your first green bar. Some members rep each other to gain power ;) although they are forced to spread their repping. This I assume is to prevent two members constantly repping one another to gain power. Good repping should be used wisely, that's the whole idea of it isn't it? Give a good rep when you think someone's thread or post has impressed you, or helped you in some way :)
You also get rep points when you become a VIP, 15 per month I think. So it's
easier for VIP's to gain power quicker than the average member. I could well be wrong but that is my theory.
