No, it doesn't exist. It's just a massive business and useful for the governments. It was just like the ozone layer scam a few years back made by the same big business companies. People just don't take the time to think, sit down and discuss it they just hear what's said in schools, in the media etc and they decide to believe that, pretty sad really. Global Warming as actually introduced as a problem by Margaret Thatcher in the late 80's - just an excuse to scare the people and earn more money.
we're all going to die at the end of the year anyway so we don't have to worry about global warming
Doesn't bother me at all. By all means, continue with 'sustainable development' because it could mean a massive breakthrough in how we use the resources available to us in the future, but IMO global warming has been largely blown out of proportion by the world's governments looking to tax their citizens further.
It doesn't really bother me that much. And even if it did, theres nothing much we can do about then what we are already doing such as walking more, cycling more ect..
Couldn't care at all. There's no harm in using less energy, but to wrap it up in fear mongering is self-defeating.
not enough to do anything about it sadly
Hmm, I would of said earlier - perhaps the 60s? Flower power and going against polluting corporations was a big turning point in society (particularly the US and UK) - obviously anti-war and hate were the main point of the flower power mvoement, but energy and loving mother earth were chucked in the mix. The only difference is that in the 60s the technology that could alter how we use energy was virtually non-existent.
