I always hated obsessive texting, although sometimes it's okay.
The most annoying form of SMS annoyance for me this past week, was when I showed some enthusiasm and invited a particular mate who I haven't seen in a long while to hang out on certain day. This person responds, "yes, can't wait" etc.
The day comes that we'd organized to hang out and I texted my mate,"Hey bro, when you wanna chill?". 3 days later this person responds, "hey man sorry i didnt get back to u this weekend i lost my phone but ill see u next weekend brother"
This person may have lost their phone but there's always facebook and other forms of contact. I'm not that suspicious or upset over this particular situation. It just purely annoys me. But hey, there will always be annoyances in life, and I'm fine with that. :)

Something my girlfriend always does is respond by saying "Oh ok" UHMMM OH OKAY WHAT?!

Hate to say it guys, but if someone replies with a really short answer like yes, no, lol or something there is only one reason for it. They don't want to speak to you.

Only annoying texts are ones which use such poor English you cannot read them.
