sub-forums worked fine last time. If any1 moved a thread to announcements or summat they got a perm ban

But won't those sub-forums be public? How do you want to prewrite comps if anyone can see them? Do the sub-forums have a sub-forum that is private? How did they actually work? 'Cause right now KKK is just a thread. S:

There was a forum titled 'VIP Sub Forums', and then all sub-forums was under that forum, so it didn't waste space. Then you could see anyone who requested a sub forum and the name of the forum they called it.

It's really not hard work.

From what I remember, all VIPs had sub-forums, and the only one that was ever popular was Smiddy's, hence why the thread was saved. All others were a waste of time, and presumably, why they were removed.

It'd be pointless bringing them back really.

Well we still have the VIP sub-forum and anyone can create a thread there, but no one does, because no one cares..

You are correct in saying it's not hard work. But to bring them back seems to be quite pointless as I can only remember only a few of them were used and popular at the time. Like Kardan has pointed out below:
