Yeah this doesn't really bother me too much and I tend to write grammatically, even online. It only really bothers me if it's over the top.

if i'm ever to type using u and crappy grammar it's because i cba or i'm joking lol. it doesn't really bother me much. i think it bothers me more when people put stuff like Ill and Im or were (as in we're) or u w0t m8

YES. And it's not even a thing they do because they're being lazy. They genuinely think that it is "could of" not "could have". AND when you try to explain it to them they insist that they're right :'(

I think it's just an age thing, so doesn't bother me to much. Especially for online sites such as Habbo, people will be more likely to use more Internet chat. Nice prescriptivist attitude though.

I take language like slang as a joke really, makes things much more funneh.

I usually shorten words when I'm tired but I don't think it's a huge deal like its Habbo you should be thankful people are speaking some level of understandable English at least given the array of international users
