I'll post the site whenever he replies. If you save up that much then you would have no problem (by the sounds of it) working/living there for a year.

Ah okay, so he went through a company. Hmm, I'll have to suss more options out. I'm thinking if I try with the company who I did my apprenticeship through it should be easier, I know all that stuff off by heart.
@OldLoveSong;, you're Canadian, what is the job market like at the moment? Is it fairly easy or fairly difficult to find jobs?

alberta is where all the jobs are at right now. Cant same for where i am in Ontario. Alberta is beautiful nd in high demand for workers so its a win win scenario

most of my mates rocked up and found a job on the ground. they were paid a lot more and their hours significantly better... only thing is you'd have to pay for your lift pass and have the balls to do it. gl, i've been pretty tempted to do it but landed a decent job here so gonna stick that out for a bit. might give hotham or perisher a whirl one day.
