I love Thomas Hardy - it is Victorian literature though, and he can be pretty dark. If you read anything of his, I'd recommend Jude the Obscure - my absolute favourite novel!

idk i find the actual story side (so basically not when they're shoving metal balls up ana) of all the 50 shades books fun to read, pretty much skipped all the gory sex **** by the time i got to the second bookQuote:
