I got GTA V on the PS4 and the graphics look a lot sharper and you can see a lot more detail has been put into the different backgrounds in the game. For example on the older consoles if you looked closely at the grass in the game it was really just a blur, on the next-gen consoles the grass looks a lot more realistic and this helps immerse you in the simple beauty of the game.
I haven't played a stack of the game yet but from my early impressions the game has been worth re-buying, especially if you are someone that will use the new first person mode, I prefer the original third person mode myself but that is just my personal preference. Admittedly, I did sell my Xbox 360 copy of GTA V to a friend, so I didn't have a copy of the game I didn't need when I bought the next-gen version.
