No I'd just rather have more RAM first, then the SSD later.

Don't take the 'insane' comment to heart, I just think it is a lot of messing about to have everything you need on a hard drive and then reinstall every little thing back for the SSD and during the time when you're using the hard drive things will be so slow anyway that you won't really notice the extra ram
