@Wispur; Why have I only got 1 high score in Chopper now whilst everyone else has all their old ones still? :O
Oh thats something to do with a setting I changed. Copy of my post from spam:
I've changed the setting which is meant to only show a users highest score, but it doesn't seem to have done anything. I've also turned on the featured game setting and enabled a feature that sends a PM to the top scorer when their score gets overtaken.
Ah, I see. In regards to the "it doesn't seem to have done anything" part I assume the user has to play and submit a score for it to remove all their scores (besides the highest one). So whilst the people still active in the arcade now will only have one score per game there's still going to be loads of scores on each game belonging to users who are no longer active.
I believe the only way to get rid of that would be to archive scores.
"Automatically archive old or duplicate scores" which I assume would sort it, but I'm not sure what that entails, as I'm sure Chippie said it removes it from the leaderboard but it still displays historical high scores
@Wispur; can see the description so can give better idea of what it does.
Is there any reason why we need to only show a users highest score? I don't mind it that way but it's nice to see what the other users are playing and what scores they've got recently at the homepage as they make progress. Plus it now makes the arcade look a lot more inactive!
Still, it's nothing you can't live with.
Is there any way to show a person's recent scores on a game where the new scores shows on the homepage, without it adding up on the actual score page since you want it to stop being filled up?
Home page will always show the latest scores people got, but there's no need for the top 1000 high scores to be by the same 3 people competing :P
Every arcade I've ever used (even the old arcade from what I remember) only allowed one score per person, that being the highest. It doesn't make the arcade look more inactive as it's still got how many times you've played games, how many plays today etc :P if anything it just makes the arcade look a lot nicer and gives people an their actual position (so instead of being #1049 because the same 2-3 people competed for those 1048 ranks, you'd be #3)
http://www.habboxforum.com/arcade.php?u=70869 shows all your recent scores
As in the Arcade Homepage, it should show the 3 latest scores upon which you can click 'More' and display more
It does!
Below the latest victors there's a bit of every score.
Here's the 'more' version which shows loads; http://www.habboxforum.com/arcade.php?do=stats
Top is Champions, bottom is scored
