Just pretty much say I don't feel well to my parents and constantly go on about it for them to say "Are you going to school/college or not?" I then act dumb and say I am not sure and leave it to the last possible minute to say I'm not going in. Also lied about being poorly so I could finish more important work off as their deadlines were sooner.

I'm absolutely awful for taking days off. Sometimes my attendance gets down to about 65% and that's when I think I should probably start picking it up again.
I go into such detail with my illnesses and I've faked all sorts of things over the years. In year 9 I got this paint from my aunt and I used to use it to paint my face white (it was water paint so it just made me look paler) and I'd use blush in the corner of my eyes to make them look red and puffy. I'd fake illness for days and keep up the pretence it was awful omg.
Now if I don't want to go in I just stay home though. They don't ask and my mum leaves early and comes home late these days so she isn't aware.
Honestly if any of you want any tips on making yourself look/feel ill I have plenty x

hate lying and would prefer it was just unautherised absence if it's a 1 off and i'm not feeling up to it rather than having to make up some excuse. did skip the end of a day a few weeks ago and said my housemate fell down the stairs and i had to help her tho

I used to always fake feeling just ill in general when I was younger and it always just so happened to be before my irish class (a) the teacher was a softy so always let me pop home! I always used to just pretend my stomach was at me if I wasn't in the mood

Yeah, food poisoning is the one everyone uses and that includes me... Sadly. I don't think I've ever actually had food poisoning though.
