I literally chose a game at random, tested it and thought YEAH THIS WILL DO. I must admit it is quite addictive.

other than that it's just testing ones it's hardly like he's going round giving them to his friends, its literally just him while he tests them. Shockingly, things have to be tested before they go live.

I must say I've not noticed anyone being given icons for free unless they've won it as part of a competition (e.g.Harry Potter) or bought it previously as part of a different event (like Remembrance Day). I know for Valentines there was a few lovehearts given out as part of a competition but that's all I'm aware of!
