incredibly sad news hearing the passing of one of music's true icons and innovators. his presence can be felt all around from the pop landscape of madonna and lady gaga to more left field acts like lcd soundsystem.
his final album blackstar was only just released on friday to brilliant reviews and i hope he will be remembered for his constant reinvention not just his impact in the 70s/80s.

Totally unexpected, and also quite surprising he managed such a long term of cancer and continued to put music out.
