go out for a meal
A few of my friends and myself included all have birthdays in June/July so we normally go on holiday or go away for a few days at the end of June to celebrate everyone's birthdays otherwise it gets too confusing organising something to do like every week, let alone the expense of it all!
Erm normally going out for a meal with friends then another with my family on a different day lol
Not much usually, go out for a meal or something like that, always quite pleasent :)
i don't celebrate it cos im not a fan of birthdays
although that said i'll use it as blackmail if i wanna go out drinking and people dont and ill be like "ermm you have to its my birthday"
on one night i go out for dinner with family and another night i go out with friends for dinna xx
Changes each year but like dave i have always had a family meal before wat ever i do or after
I forgot to add that I don't even get cake on my birthday, can't even remember the last time I blew out my candles! I think the last cake I had was before I liked chocolate cake at all so I never even got a piece; I have my auntie make me a trifle instead and I love it more than a cake :D.
i don't really like birthdays so usually i just invite my best friend over and we'll have a sleepover and order pizza with loads of extras and desserts
WELL since 2013 I've been lucky enough to spend my bdays on holiday in the sun which is lovely as i really enjoy spending time with my grandma and aunty so
but basically my grandma is pretty chilled so she gives me the option to do whatever i want
last august we went on a drive down to this cute little village and bought some nice things
basically a cobbled street with shops on either side, was a really nice day out though
then when we got back we went for a meal at the local restaurant (if you have me on fb you might have seen the restaurant im talking about)
and the country is like one that doesn't celebrate birthdays so they dont really have cakes in boxes like we do (u go to a man in a shop, say u want a cake and he does it for you for special occasions like weddings)
like over there you don't have a massive tesco
their massive tescos are like our tesco metros with less products so
my grandma does have candles though from when she was in england so we bought an ice cream and used that instead ;)
but in former years we use to just relax, watch tv and go for a meal really
when i was younger i use to go to this like place with my friends as a party kind of thing but it was like a big soft play area thing idk what it's called but yeah
i like bdays cos it's an excuse to get together with family
i love family time
