@Khloe; that's so sad to have to deny that you're gay when people ask you :( I've never been bothered with what I am because I don't think it's ever even crossed anybody's mind to consider to ask me. Don't know what my response would be if they were to ask but still.
I grew up with a mixture of male and female friends and progressed naturally into relationships with girls I grew close to because they're the ones that asked and other guys weren't firmly into guys at that point so the opportunity never arose. I've had a handful of relatively long relationships and found myself becoming more attracted to them more as I got to know them so just assumed that I was normal, but apparently people are attracted from the off. After a good few years of spending time around a wide range of people online and flirting with pretty much everyone but not feeling physical attraction or wanting anything more than friendship unless we grew very very close I slowly realised that I didn't really have a preference. I say I'm straight still because I can't really justify saying anything else without having to explain my situation thoroughly or have people jumping to conclusions /making false judgements about me. I've only been in proper relationships with girls, I've only had sex with girls, I'm in a relationship now with a girl, but I've definitely found myself grow close to guys in between, it just depends entirely on how much I talk to someone and can appreciate them as to whether I would have a relationship with them.

but in seriousness i don't know really, denied for a while then thought bisexual... the usual really. probably 15 or 16 realised all not right then 18 next step.

I started being exposed to gay/bi people on here I think, apart from 1 lesbian at my school who came out age 16/17 I didn't know of anyone else. I've always been attracted to women but I think I properly realised when I was bi when I kissed a girl for a dare in freshers week and she laughed it off but I was into it more? Looking back that's what comes to mind anyway!
