Hm.. I understand you are new to alterations so I will not be harsh. I think this is a good effort, and, with practice, you will get better. Effort; 9/10, Result; 5/10. Keep it up, and good luck in the future.

I think that's a really good idea. It's kidn of funny ebacuse it's simple, simple to make, but looks quite effective! Well done :D
