I agree with everyone else, looks super bulky. Though I hardly go on, so I'm not sure it'll bother me lol..
That account sure does have a lot of diamonds lol

Defo some mix views across the community that is for sure - I am open minded in that it will look a tad different at the final product.
Though - the fabulous rumours have started (just like the merge ones!) - silly ones I have heard so far is that the Marketplace is no more and wird furni won't work. Have you heard any others?
That would kill Habbo, I think 98% of rooms these days have some sort of wired in them, and some solely rely on wired to actually function as its intended purpose.. As for the MP, I think that would cause much fuss as well... Back before the MP we had to navigate in and out of rooms searching for someone selling the specific item you wanted, which way back when wasn't that hard since there were more players, plus a lot of shops.. however now there is hardly any shops, and far less players along with a LOT more furni, meaning the chances of someone having what you're after is slim.
They won't be removing major features, this will have been stuff they've made sure will work BEFORE deciding on the platform
I don't like change... i'm excited to see what this level business is all about though! hehe
just wish they'd stay simular to the UI Rn
Same game, different coating
New statement out:
Bolded bit is interesting cos honestly that screenshot looks very app-first but it's nice for them to actually commit to continuing to support for desktops and PCs etc.Quote:
Earlier this month, we gave you a first look at Habbo 2020's UI. The reaction was mixed and we wanted to make sure the community is as informed as it can be.
Firstly, we'd like to reiterate that Habbo 2020 is an entirely new client. It's being built from the ground up with with Unity, a cross-platform game engine. We're certainly not just replicating the Habbo mobile app for people who log into Habbo from a desktop device!
Secondly, we'd like to point out that the screenshot we shared was just an example of how Habbo 2020 will look on one device. It will be scalable and will adapt to the device you play on. We'll be able to show more of the UI in the coming weeks.
Finally, we'd like to reassure everyone that Habbo 2020 will be available to play on desktop. This means that if you prefer to play Habbo on a laptop, Macbook, PC or any other desktop device, you'll be able to play Habbo 2020 as normal.

Looking forward to more UI screenshots though!
I don't really think I can have much of a say on Habbo in general considering I login once a week for literally 2 minutes. However I am glad that they're continuing support for the PC, I did worry that the screenshot was more geared towards touch screen devices with it's bulky interface.
Hopefully the mobile applications will be a lot better than their current one, I have their current one installed on my tablet for god knows what reason, but I can't stand being on it because it's whole interface is awful in my opinion.
Too much going on these days.
Then again, I am someone who was confused by Xbox Live (and still am).
