Agreed with Invent, there are hundreds and this one is nothing special. For one you don't even know code yourself. If you learnt code and maybe show coders you can help them out, maybe you would stand a slight chance of 'hitting the big time'. Then you have to sort out your advertisement scheme, which costs money (which you don't have).
I remember Suerte Heights, and you flopped it, dreadfully. I was actually quite appealed to Suerte heights, however either you ran out of money or just got lazy with it, and tried to sell it off for god knows how much, 300 quid I think it was... It didn't even have a working client did it? :S Next time, get a 'marketing manager' for your 'business plans'. If you're the owner, yeah sure you should have some idea of where you want to take your business, but the marketing managers would usually do this. Maybe you're just looking in the wrong direction, and instead you should be a marketing manager. You seem to talk the talk after all.
Some people were born to lead websites, some are not. I am personally not, I'm just good at motivating people when it needs doing, and inspiring others (to an extent). Maybe you should think to yourself, since you've 'unsuccessfully' made a website/project last more than 6 months, you could be doing one thing wrong: Your position in a company.
Note I didn't say you were too young, as I know one lad younger than myself, and he's amazing, and almost seems like he's over 20 as I once said to him. Age isn't a matter, but your mind and aspirations are in what you want to do. I personally do think you'll be better going someone in that direction.
i did this for him,
http://sharecore.net/quick/
i spent like 20 mins on it but now im hearing that it wont work out ect i dont wana do it for him..
don't waste your time on it lol.
ok thanks for the advice. i wont :)
That is very unfair. Me and Matt are getting on well, Matt just don't listen to them. I can't speak to you until 5pm tonight.
What they are saying is guess work - they THINK it will fail however we can make it work.
I am not having rude members ruin another project of mine.
Is Matt getting paid?
What's Matts benefits from this?
Let me correct the second paragraph!
Rude members? These "rude members" know alot more about making a site than you, jeez man your template is off zymic.Quote:
What they are saying is so true! - they KNOW it will fail, FAIL so miserable, we can't make it work!
Matt had agreed to the given terms within the Press Release and Business Plan.
My template is not off of Zymic atall. I will be showing the template and idea to a publisher in about 30 mins from now, and we will see what he thinks.
Thanks again folks, you ruin yet another project. If you had kept this thread positive, and not 'guesed' the future of iHubz or looked back on the past, I may have a decent coder right now.
The press release was for visitors to Splur Studios, and for anyone interested in iHubz project. Py, Suerte Heights did NOT fail. I sold it for £120, therefore I made money - a success.
'Maybe you should think to yourself, since you've 'unsuccessfully' made a website/project last more than 6 months, you could be doing one thing wrong'
None of my websites are unsuccessful. Suerte sold, Splur is active and still going and provides the service I need it to provide. People get negitive views on my websites because of people like yourselfs who bring up the past, and then say that future projects are likley to be bad :S
Sapulce.net O.o = P
Sapulce will be a success :)
Yes, but your telling us that we have to code it all for you and get 50% of owner ship, seriously, if i was the coder i would want 85% of all profits / ownership
That would then give them the majority control, and I would have no control over the business, which is not what I want.
Anyhow, I have found a coder, who has agreed to all terms and hopefully we will have a new site out by december :)
who?!.,
Well, Darren, you've outwit us again!
You really are Toogood at this game for us!
I spoke to Matt on msn, you're a failure,
let me be bolden that up your in-acceptable mind FAILURE
BIG
NON-SUCCESFUL
FAILURE
it's in red Darren.
So it's true.
and why do you think I am a big, non successful failure?
Where is your evidence to back this up?
Hxf (abou 50 odd) - 0 (Woodrally)
Matt, I don't get what you mean. You guys are saying my projects will fail but you have no evidence for it. You have no idea about my private projects. I sold one project for £120 - that is a success, and my latest project Splur Studios is fully up and running, however just needs marketing.
iHubz now has a coder, and he will be starting work as soon as I have the complete design. We have changed the idea of iHubz a little, and the plans will be revealed soon.
We are looking to launch iHubz in December.
Another one...
You say it will fail however you have no proof that my project will fail. My past may be bad, however you also thought that Suerte failed, even though I sold it for £120.
Now, you say this project will fail, however have no proof of this and you are just saying this because you don't want me to create a decent, working project. I have a good coder working on it, and I am doing the web 2.0 design for iHubz.
I think I better stay away from this forum with press releases, because it just seems to cause problems. I have done nothing wrong here, and I am just making a very good project for others to use. More information can be found at
www.splurstudios.com
Darren
A 13 year old cannot run a company.
Your right, you can't be 13 and run a company. iHubz is not a company at the moment, it is just a starter website. If it does expand, I will get my parents to register as a company, until I reach 16 (in less than 2 years).
You may have sold it for £120. But you even said you didnt make any profit. So where did you win there?
But people have been saying it FAILED, which it did not. It was a learning experience for me.
If you didn't plaster your name everywhere then people would forget that it was you.
I wouldn't say adding my name to a press release (I did sign at the bottom) as plastering my name around. I purposely kept my name away from here.
Taxing - £5,300 something a year
Copyright - Don't need to. DMCA protects intellectual property without the need, plus you can use iHubz as a TM until you register it.
Business productions - not at all
Company Registration - £250 I think to become a limited company.
But even then, I could afford it.
At the moment I do not need to pay any taxes and do not even have to make it a company.
£6000 is nothing.
My dad is working in the Bahamas... £200 a day so £6000 is nothing
basicly your dad left you?
yeh my dad gave me 20 grand to make a busness!!! hes notz lien
Your dad is getting £200 per day, I think you have forgottern where is the money coming from to the pay bills etc? Im sure your mum & dad would rather use the money for other things than a website there son is going to waste £6000 on.
My dad has not left, he is on work out there for about 6 weeks.
The coders have left this project before it began, so I may make a new project. I will be looking on these forums for a new coder this afternoon
