Yep, I have a long-distance relationship going on and with us just getting back together it seems quite... On edge. You can't deny however, the fact you love someone and you could text that a million times in different variations and you could well mean it every single time. It just depends what the situation is really, you feel you mean it more when the person you love is in distress and you're trying to comfort them, or you're both laughing about and having some fun.
I think she likes you, by the sounds of the following texts.
ily is a load of crap lol
it doesnt mean anythin so if she txt with it she will probs mean it as a friend
well i send ily to my friends so yeah lol
I always say i love you to my girlfriend 'cos it takes like 1 second longer to type but makes alot more of an impact =]
the term "ily" or "ilu" or "ly" is such utter ********.
if you can't say it, don't ******* abbreviate it.
i never type 'i love you' - cause i dont mean it
i say ly
Never say it to my bird because, I honestly don't love her. She says it to me sometimes, I just reply "Yeah.. Same, now.." and move onto another subject.
I find it hard to tell people I love them, apart from when i'm drunk. Haha.
i always say "i love you" to my girlfriend :).
I really say "ily" as a joke really, because I always think "I love you" has real meaning, you can't just throw it about aimlessly.
I see what you mean, ages and ages back, me and this girl who moved away from me stayed together but we only talked on MSN/in texts and say I sent her a text saying "I love you :] xxxxxx", she'd be like "ilu2". And I kinda thought she didn't mean it in the same way I meant it to her. Probably because of the insenscerity.
I guess, from that experiance, she only liked me as a mate but didn't have the guts to tell me she had gone off me straight away.
So yeah, she means it as mates.
When I say "I Love You" I mean it, otherwise, using "text-talk". No.
I say I love u when i mean it.
Say luv u when its for friends.
i wanna know how it went with you and the girl!!
i'm sure warez has another account right?
well, if your not going out wiv them and u say i love you they think ur sayin it as a mate. My boy mates are always saying I love you to me and i say ILU2 but its because they mean it as mates (or at least i think they do lol)

As someone else said, ily sounds so half-assed. Only one person says 'ily' to me and that's an e-friend. If you're going to express your love through a text message, don't use text speak. It's so lazy.
What you do is meet her in real life and say "I love you" it's not hard WarezGirl.
