Where are rare values?

I go away for two days and return to people arguing yet again, it won't get either site anywhere but it's the same people saying the same old things. There are two rare value sites that people use, one of them is newer than the other which means nothing. Some people prefer one to the other which means nothing. Neither are going anywhere soon, so we're just going to have to learn to be able to deal with both which I thought most people were over now but clearly aren't. I have no idea why people are throwing untrue statements around however, that isn't my problem. I think it's about time that the few continuously arguing in this thread get over that there are two rare value sites, arguing proves nothing here. I know I have before, but like I keep reinstating i'm fully over it ;).

So 8Freak8 and Sierk gave you permission to put Russian Samover to 25CS, and as soon as they thought it was wrong, they decided to sack you... that's stupid if they gave you permission to do it, and because they made a wrong decision of letting you do it, you got sacked... :/ They just made it worse by making it 5CS though lol.

I haven't/never had anything against HHGS. Shouldn't people be happier that they have two site's to check values on? At least then they can have a more accurate value in their head's if they see both our values. e.g. Habbox - Gold Feather Pillow - 1CS, HHGS - Gold Feather Pillow - 1CS, "Oh, so it definitely trades for 1CS'.

But if we have different value's, they can take the average of our value's, or choose one value to follow, or try and use a value of their own =]

I asked for permission to start a debate, 8Freak8 said yes. The Russian Samovar starts rising not because of me, because of the public. I updated it's value as it was my JOB. When they hit 25 CS 8Freak8 and sierk decided to mysteriously drop it to 10 CS when they were clearly going for 25 CS+

So ask yourself who REALLY fixed it's value?

I haven't pointed my finger at you or anyone that I thought fixed it's value? And I don't want to as it is just wrong to blame others... It's all in the past (a year ago!!!) and I think we should just get on with our live's, instead of blaming other's for something that happened a long time ago.

Where in that text have I said the words '-:undertaker:- rigged the values'? I've never blamed you... infact i've always thought the opposite! I've always thought that you raised the values of the Russian Samover due to people believing it would become a Super Rare, therefore they traded for more and so you increased its value etc.

I've actually always been on your side with the Russian Samover, as people were paying 25CS for Russian Samover's, and 8Freak8 and Sierk didn't do much help by doing the worst thing possible - Sacking you as the blame, and dropping Russian Samover to 10CS :/

Reading these threads bores me now. Dan got fired, it shouldn't have happened, it keeps being brought up, the issue never dies, everyone gets annoyed. That seems to be the theme of most threads in this forum. The thread was about teddy bears!

The issue keeps getting sprung up because most Habbox members are agaist HHGS, saying our values are copy of Habbox or any insult like they can't navigate the site, E.g reading a navbar. But when saying oh HHGS values suck Dan did most of Habbox's that may be the reason?

Do you not realise the vast amount of people who use Habbox don't even know about HHGS I am simply asking you why the hell you said that most habbox users hate hhgs because that's a complete and utter lie.

I use both, I like sell my things at habbox value and buy hhgs value. HHGS is where I get recolour values. I value both sites the same. Althought I do not think mochas, tubs etc are 0.1.

Actually its not, Yes oviously not everyone hates HHGS but i can assure you quite alot i even have a PM from head of DJ dept saying how crap HHGS is :rolleyes:

If the majority of traders use Habbox then you have to deep dig into your brain and come to terms there is a reason why the majority of traders use it; there are plenty i'm sure you can understand a few, possibly. If you think the values are inaccurate then I will conjur up a brainwave for you, don't use them! 'But I have to because everyone else does' at the end of the day you pay what you think a rare is worth. I almost feel pity towards you that you're ever so concerned because some of your rares have decreased in value and don't even try and say there are other reasons because that is your fundamental one, end of.

reading between the bogus crap and nonsense im able to deduce 3 things

1. you're deluded under the impression that habboxs values are used by so many because they are correct or else there popular, wrong! there used so much because of the few influential traders who use them and this filters down in to other traders and habbos – not because they believe in the values, but because its nearly impossible to find a trade without following them to a degree

2. you're a hypocrite, you think i deserve pity for being "so concerned" about what my rares are worth? when you're the person who is a so called rare values manager! pmsl

Atm, HHGS is moving to a VPS (Virtual Private Sever) and its very complicated and we need to sort alot of things out so far its taken 4 days i think, Which is a bit of a joke but ye, Im hoping HHGS will be back tomorrow on a VPS moving fast but as i remeber rightly you were rvr staff before and got fired?

Deluded? Perhaps a bit far fetched seeing as this is actually online... Of course people trust Habbox values, if they didn't they wouldn't use them. I have no doubts whatsoever that the majority of people who use them are happy with them rather than feeling as if they have no other alternative then to use them. I won't deny that some people who use them don't want to use them but feel as if they have to. Strangely enough I can face the truth and have learnt to accept it. Quite a good skill to have and worthwhile you attempting to pick up. Of course it's impossible to find a trade without following the Habbox values to a degree because the guide value displayed on Habbox usually has a degree of accuracy about it...

Ross has let us know that 9,000 unique habbo's are using HHGS, so they must be OK with not using our values if there is 9,000 of them. :)

As I said 9,000 unique habbo's use HHGS value's, so its not nearly impossible. Its just possible.

He's done a good job of Rare Values Managers actually. He has worked his butt off for a full year, and if he wasn't a suitable Manager, he would have been fired a long time ago.

Downhill? We still have the majority of Habbo's using Habbox's values, and that still makes us a popular site. It can just be a very difficult year from now and onwards, as we have a very big competitor (HHGS) who I think have done really good. They have done better than any other Rare Values Site at trying to compete with Habbox
