many movie experts and critics agree that citizen kane is the greatest film of all time. it tops virtually every list.
unfortunately, i've never seen it, haha.
but my favorite film of all time is little miss sunshine.
Citizen Kane is indeed a phenomenal film. Definitely go and watch it if you like black and whites.
Se7ven is a brilliant film as well, as is the original Jurassic Park.
A good movie, is "Das Boot" PS: It's 8 hours long :D

I cant really comment on The Silence of The Lambs as Ive never watched it before.
I think Titanic is up there, The Exorcist and The Shining are good but overlooked because of their genre. I think animated movies like Spirited Away and Beauty and the Beast are overlooked because of what they are too.
Can't say i agree with The Shining...
It is meant to be one of the scariest movies ever made, i watched it in a caravan in the middle of a thunderstorm and still wasn't scared:rolleyes:
