They couldn't merge UK with any non-English speaking hotels. Most of, if not all the European hotels speak their own languages.

It does sound crazy to think people might pay tonnes more for a different version of the same furni, but I think Demala is right on this one. The richest people (ones with room after room of supers) will be prepared to fork out for the very rarest of all the furni. All that is going to happen is a new kind of snobbery will emerge where people will look down upon casinos that don't have the US version of everything even if on the face of it, the room is completely identical to the "rich" one.

Obviously a money saving measure. It's funny how a few years ago they were spinning off loads of new national hotels only to merge them further down the road, not very good forward planning. It will be interesting to see if any other mergers will occur in the future. I always thought CA was a popular hotel, at least it was when it opened. I know Habbo has a huge ES userbase.

Will never happen with UK. Sulake would go bust before merging UK with any other hotel too.

The trophies are more understandable though because they are physically unique (well, as physical as pixels are :P) and they're sort of an icon in Habbo. It's a different story if it's a second version of pretty much EVERY item of furni, and the difference isn't even visual, but just in the name.

I honestly think it would be a lot better if they just said to hell with "values" (which has usually been their attitude so far), and just leave the furni as it is. I imagine both hotels will see a lot of stuff they previously called supers so it'll probably even itself out anyway. There have been many things in the past that have caused supers to suddenly become worthless so who cares.

I'll be unprofessional, certainly immature and 100% subjective here when I say I agree with you about the .CA community being more friendly than the USA and UK communities. However I stand by what I say, the community is too small in size, and for that reason in a money making aspect it is a joke.

Yeah you will never see multiple languages being merged into one hotel. For one, it would cause a hell of a lot of complications and I imagine it would just create a huge divide between users - essentially racism.

It will not happen with the UK as there are no hotels with the same timezone/language.

No it will never happen as AU/NZ is over 20 hours ahead of some parts. dates will get all confused.

i agree/disagree I think they will only group common languages (sorry about spelling) and times zones. I think it will be likely to have...

Habbo NA (Is happening)
Habbo AU/SG (Australia and Singapore have practicly the same timezones, and both are english)
And if there are any EU hotels with the same language i think they will be merged.

That's the most plausible thing anyone has suggested because it would keep the hotel popular and active all around the clock.

Are you sure that's how it's going to work? I'd think they'd just let all the Americans keep their names (NOT FAIR) because their hotel is bigger and I'd assume we'd be merging into their database.

You can see the rare values on Habbo US are collapsing now because of whats coming up; http://www.bobbavalues.com/?go=rares (US) & http://www.duckieworld.ca/en/ (CA). The Throne, Dragon Egg, Typewriter, Yellow Marquee and the Golden Elephant are all dropping on US as they are lower/more common on CA.

Looking back seems like they regret making the separate hotel and would of been better off just having an English speaking one.

Damn those canadians :P But yeah, I'm most concerned about the usernames.. I had a ton of really good ones on US that I made in the first few minutes of it opening.
