Meh, well, exactly why people pick different gaming cases, just for the design I guess, otherwise every car would look the same and every PC Would look the same. :)
when i first saw it, i thought itd been hit in the front wit some kind of hammer. But the ton of memory and built in wifi makes up for it ;p
Let's hope they bring down stand alone hard drive prices/the wi-fi dongle prices
Xbox 360 redesign is FANTASTIC.
They're chasing the Wii market way too hard, going to alienate a lot of people.
I was impressed by MGS Rising and Black Ops... but that's it really.

well, this is a first? just finished watching the microsoft thing, and i dont remember anyone ever releasing a new console within a week of it being released.
This is so easily getting bought, as soon as i find it in a shop.

so how do people think xbox performed? I thought the best parts were, tbqh, rising and black ops, and funnily enough, these are also on ps3.. 'Kinect', however stupidly named, didnt impress toooo much. I can see the attraction, but it didnt show any use otehr than for a bit of fun having a party, and you defo need a big space to play it
That was by far the worst E3 day for me ever. Black ops reveal was crap. kinetic reveal too long. cant remember other bits because they were crap

Oh i loved it. Got me hyped up for the rest of e3
i liked the gears 3 level, graphics were awesome, and the mutating lambent enemies looked pretty cool too. the cod one was nothing new really. the kinect things were mainly embarassing, although waving to sign in, and speaking to the xbox to make it do movie and music things looks quite cool.
Rising isn't on PS3. I think they focused a bit too much time on Kinect, and could've given more time to the main games. I liked all the main games apart from Forza because I'm not into racing. Fable 3 looks like more of the same which is awesome, but at the same time it kinda sucks that it doesn't look like much has changed.Quote:

It won't boost sales if it's the exact same price? LOL. Oh no wait it has a built in wifi. Oh wait I could have had that and bluray and bluetooth on the ps3, for the same price (U.S.) and since september. It's a fail tactic by M$, the reason the slim sold so well is because of the price drop not because of the new design, the design was really to give the ability for a price drop and a proper redesign but the 360 has the same logo, the same branding. It's pretty much just a new SKU.
is it worth me watching?
