Up to now habbo didnt think a 'hacking' problem this big would ever happen. Titanic = unsinkable / Habbo = unhackable (up to now)
Habbo just want to make sure more people dont get hacked because of a so called housekeeping and staff problem. I didnt know Habbo could trace if someone has changed their password but I think the main reason for this is to just make sure you are safe, Habbo has had enough problems in the past how many weeks.
You shouldnt be changing your password for the credits, you should be changing it to keep your account. Habbo are not telling you what to change your password to therefore its not really a scam.
Habbo always say no staff will ask you for your password or tell you to change it for credits, looks like this is the only way they can make sure the problem is sorted.
So dont just make threads on habbox saying dont change your password. Just DO IT!

Habbo I think are just making it aware that you should change your pass every so often and they aren't telling you what to change it to they just giving you the option and to show awareness :$
If some scammers were setting it up - they would not have the time/resources to steal everybodies furniture - possibly 5,000 have done it already!

basically its a competition which is in the interest to habbos, it is encouraged that you cahnge your password evry so often anyway and tis competition is just a way of encouraging people to do it if they already havn't. what difference does changing it make. if it was a keylogger it would know your current password before your new 1 :-S

if i was you id change it, coz if everyone changed it, and hackers got onto HK, they wouldn of had time to update the HK to our passwórds, so the hackers would get your old ones

OK Enough proof from lots of different people the competition IS legit/real, so yes it's advised you DO change your password as soon as possible if you haven't: they wouldn't put that competition up for no reason!
