actually love this show lmao
i cant believe the 17 yr old didnt get in though, just because they thought she was older
LOVE IT! Jessie J is so funny and makes me laugh. There's been some amazing people on, I loved that really camp guy who sang Madonna!
i do enjoy watching this as its different to bgt and x factor. however would of been nice for that very talented girl to get through
i love the fact that this is getting more viewers than britains got talent lool :)
also there are a few good acts on :O
I'm enjoying it alot more than what I am with X Factor, I didn't expect it too be this good. I'm intrigued in what they are going to do for the next round after they all have 10 contestants each.
The reason it is on at the same time as bgt is so it can compete with it.
The idea is simple - when they sing the judges only hear their voice and don't have a clue about what the person looks like. A lot of people on stuff like the X Factor and Britain's Got Talent get through because of their personality over their actual talent e.g. there have been lots of characters that have gotten through but actually can't sing. On here they are simply hearing the voice, hearing it sing and judging it primary on that.
Notice how all the contestants actually can sing on the show.
i absolutely love the voice, think the idea and set up is so much better than x-factor and the judges are brill.
Haven't watched tonights episode yet, I'll catch it up on iPlayer at some point.
But yeah I'm loving this show, its got a different feel to it than what the X Factor has and the panel are actually better in my opinion. :D
i watched it for the first time tonight and i think it's brilliant, i love how they're actually judging them on their voice and not their appearance. i will probably be watching the rest of the episodes from this point onwards, it's definitely better than x-factor.
Can't wait for the last of the blind auditions and to see the final line ups. I hope the stage after the blind auditions are just as good because I have a feeling it will just be like pop idol (not x factor cos they dance on there tbh).
Will
The voice > X factor
The battles have been incredible tonight.
I've not been watching this one tbh, but I heard the singing is of a better standard than x factor. Is that true?
I dunno - I think it falls into the same issue as X Factor. It say's it's about the voice but really its about finding someone they can market.
I feel that now the battles are here and they know what the people look like they are judging it on more than just the voice e.g. age, looks etc. Will.I.AM seemed to pick someone just because they where young - it means he can probably mould her more.
I also preferred Vince (bare footed one) to the female singer. His voice is really powerful and he was told to not use the full of his power, yet this is a battle round so surely he should have.
i definitely agree with the bolded. they pick those (regardless of how good they are) on whether they can see the individual selling loads of records. as i've mentioned numerous times, there was that teenager who sang opera and was really good, yet they didn't pick her, essentially because she doesn't sing like the generic artists which will sell a lot of records. yeah, she wasn't absolutely amazing - but she was untrained and with guidance could of literally **** on all the other female contestants. now that automatically defeats the shows initial stance and throws it right into the same category as x-factor.
MY FRIEND SOPHIE GRIFFIN IS ON IT SAT NIGHT AGAIN :)
Incase you don't remember

was pretty pleased with the choices but sad that Jessica and Aundrea didn't get through
i prefer it to the x factor as i feel it has a little bit more class and idk there's no sob story or drama every 2 seconds like x factor.
Is it just me or has it lost its edge now.
I dunno - I really liked the concept about it being about the voice - the fact that the judges couldn't here and then with the battle rounds in the ring with two acts last week it was also something different. I was kind of hoping they'd do 3 in a row and have the live shows with kind of something different to other shows but the live part feels just like the x factor.
All i'm going to say on this is... JessieJ.. <3
