Momentum didnt give the same XP rates as current methods, but I've just read that Momentum will now activate basic abilities every 20-30 seconds, so this might bring the XP rates back-up.Quote:

And you have to choose between key mashing or using 'Momentum', I'd prefer neither...
20 mins of momentum, well that should be enough to get most of a dung done but would changing styles muck it up? rather choose neither tho as kardan said ;p
The only difference between combat now and momentum is that you have to click one extra button every 20 minutes.
If it's between that and not having any decent new bosses and armour - I'd choose the new combat system every day of the week.
People are going to moan about any major updates to Runescape to be fair
