Yeah i got that feeling too, although he was pretty badly tortured and he had a cinder block tied to him + his hands were tied aswell.
Also i'm pretty sure Alex would do it right making sure he wouldn't live.

Yeh I was watching it on the internet so it went video then sound like there mouth moves and stopped then voice's came :( So I didnt know what happend untill the voices.
