If anything you would have to read a) The Harry Potter Series and b) Boy Overboard :) These are my favourite books ever. If your looking for a flash fiction story try Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes, a beautiful story.

Two books I'm read lately that were fab were The Fault in Our Stars by John Green and The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chabosky (or something :P)
the wicked wit and wisdom of winston churchill.
It's just a brief book of quips and quotes. It's quite amusing.
To Kill A Mockingbird :)
