IMO Tom will come back with the excuse "bullet didnt go deep enough" .. so Jack can kill him like he promised.

The jack hangup thing can sort of be explained - he somehow managed to get off the island but now hes depressed because some/majority got left behind. But how on earth can christian be alive. Hes dead! Grr and how i want to be the one to kill Mikhail, is he a reincarnation of a cat of something and has 9 lives. :S

I think Jack's dad definitely is dead. I watched it again last night and I realised that when the other doctor confronts him in the hospital and Jack asks him to get his dad down there, the doctor looks extremely confused as if he is out of is mind. Plus, the doctor refers to himself as something like the "director of surgery" and i'm sure thats what Christian Shepard (Jack's dad) used to be.. so I think he actually is dead, and Jack's just very bemused & too drunk to realise what he was saying. He always used to blame his problems on his Dad.. but now he's not there he has nobody to blame them on?

i thought it was a stupid ending. didn't explain anything.

I had the same thoughts, about when Jack said get his Dad, he was hesitant to actually go and get him.

I finally got round to watching it and yes I agree. Its a very weird way to end a season and its just confusing. I never knew that him and Kate met before all this..

Where did John go after Jack called for help?

Why the hell did stupid charlie kill himself. He could have got out and close the door from the outside as there was a wheel thing to lock the door. I found that bit very stupid as they just wanted to get rid of Charlie by the end of the season no matter what.

They didn't? All the bits with Jack in with a beard were flashforwards..
Oh & I also was angry about Charlie, not because of the door because it wouldn't lock from the outside, but he could've easily fit through that broken window.. but then I suppose he was going to die so he thought he should die saving Claire and the others in a heroic way?
