Nex gen console battle!

Yeah, Nintendo is mah heroez. ;D

Well, the president of Nintendo said that it would come out sometime around November 2006, maybe earlier. I really want to try out the new controllers though. ;D Oh, and controller cradles for the Rev controllers that look like GC controllers are going to be sold separately. Internet play will be free! ;D

And it makes sense, doesn't it? "Next Generation console" means that the console should be different than it's predacessors..prede.. I can't spell. >.<

So far, Microsoft has showed us more realistic graphics and a gaming console that looks like a vertical version of a Sony photo printer.

The PS3 will be very powerful, but it's not gonna be as if game developers will use most of that power so often.

"Nintendo might not have the horsepower that some other companies have, but if you look at the numbers that they're throwing out, are those numbers going to be used in-game? I mean, those are just numbers that somebody just crunched up on a calculator."

There is to be a controller "shell", but I believe that's just a mock-up done by IGN.

That looks like the 360 controllers, but it doesn't aat the same time :P

It looks exactly like a GC controller except with a slot for the new controller, why would they waste there time and money on it when they have a funky new contorller? Its obviously just an idea, like you said, mock-up.

But some people may still want to have an old-school feeling while playing the past games, that are downloadable..

There will be many shells to add on to just the controller, to use with the backwards capability, the company who designed that controller said thats what the shell could look like. And i couldnt imagine it any different to be honest! Yes the controller is great but it can be better with add on's. The amount of add ons are amazing and keeps the computer new and exciting!
