To be honest, I used to be a lot like you guys and never got invited out much or whatever, but I just decided to come out my shell, and instead of being all like 'OMG I'M WORRIED WHAT THEY WILL FINK OF ME IF I ACT LIKE DIS....' I was just myself! And I'm quite a loud person haha, but like I get on with just everyone and can talk to everyone easily.
I think you should honestly just start talking to people! It's really the easiest way, and it could maybe be difficult to make freinds out of school or that... so just be yourself and get talking to folk! ;p
Im not invited to much outside school, but I have a lot of friends at school. You dont want to be more popular, then you'll be with more people you hate.

One thing is to always be grateful for what you have. I've realised that. I used to feel the same way you do. But I realised it was better to have a few good friends then hanging out with a group of people you don't like. Trust me, the people here are childish and immature. :rolleyes:

Those of us that go to public school do much more grown up things, like piggy back races. Bet you're jealous now, eh?! Sometimes when we're really excited we even do wheelbarrow races. Ooooh yeah.
I don't really have a problem in the friend department. I really think confidence is the key to making friends. If you're confident you will make friends.
I honestly know how you feel, but not personally. See im in a group of about 30 people who sit in this place, were not the top guns or the nerds but were the people everyone likes basically :) we got nerds, cool people and basically everyone comes round.
We do get nerds around from time to time, I like them, there cool, but lots of people dont. Its really depressing watching it happen.
But anyway, be yourself and when you do find someone to be your friend, they'll be your friend because of that and nothing else :)
