the firemaking skill is needed to make a fire so you can quickly cook items other than on a range

You can just light a normal log? :P

I say this even though i tried getting my firemaking up once.. :(

Its only really needed when its a requirement for a quest...

i dont think there is any quest for a requirment of firemaking :s

there might be a members one to light lanterns or something :s
