I wouldn't stop doing it if it was out of fashion, if you like it carry it on. Not that i can/would do it.

A friend of mine got P I M P shaved into the back of his head, it wasn't that noticable but it was hilarious cause he was just the last guy you'd expect to get that shaved in his head.
