it wasn't 'rubbishly' made at all. some guy associated with the running of the boat when sailing wanted it to sail at some crazy speed. if they hadn't had been at that speed they would of avoided the iceberg.
that aswell but still Wrong
Who the hell cares?
It was like ages ago.
It did hit an iceberg, which ripped a hole in it. They could however have keep it afloat for longer and quite possibly saved almost the entire population of the ship. If you remember the film you may recall that when one area got flooded they close all of the flood hatches at the lowest decks so that it wouldn't spread. This caused the water to go up rather than across, and pulled the ship upright into that infamous scene where it goes vertical and splits in half. If they'd left the flood hatches open it would have stayed horizontal, and in fact would have saved them quite a bit of time (and also they'd have more surface space for people to survive on).
This Coke chap is probably going to say something about the binoculars being left in Southampton, which isn't the reason it sank, it's just the reason they didn't see the iceberg in time. The real reason that the Titanic sank is that it had lots and lots of water in it.
I think it was machine because they wanted to reverse but the machines wouldnt work fast enough in order for it to avoid the iceberg :S
